Answers to Your Questions
What is the title and basic plot of the time-based work?
Crawl Away is the title, and there is not much plot to it, it's simply an idea inside the characters head of "how my eggs got on my plate."
Who/what are the protagonist and antagonist?
I am the protagonist as myself, the caterpillar, the cocoon, and the egg. Time is the antagonist.
What is the climax of the time-based work?
When the cocoon falls and becomes an egg, and splats.
How is composition used to re-enforce the narrative?
I don't really understand this question, please speak with me in person.
How are camera angles used to evoke empathy?
When the cocoon falls and become the egg, the camera will be above the falling cocoon/egg to show it spiraling out of control towards the ground getting smaller.
What points-of-view are used to tell the narrative and why?
All is told through a third-person.
How does the project clips editing contrast rhythm/speed ?
At the beginning when the camera is looking at me sitting on a couch, frames won't need to change very frequently, but when it comes time to walk away from the couch and start crawling in the sleeping bag like a caterpillar, the frames will need to change faster.
What are motion and animation highlights in your work?
Transition from "real" world stop motion into the "drawn" world animation will be a fun trick as well as transitioning back from "drawn" world into "real" world video footage.
What do you want the viewer to think and feel after they finish viewing the project?
"Ooooo, so that's where eggs come from!"
